Rifugio Cercenà

Cercenà hut was originally a cowshed, where during summer time the cows were climbed for mountain pasture, then with the abandonment of agriculture it was used as a cottage. Only in the late seventies the building was transformed into the present Hut.
It is in Cercenà locality, at m.1050 height, in the municipality of Domegge at the foot of Montanel mountain (m. 2461 - Cridola group) from the top you can enjoy a breathtaking panorama towards the whole of Cadore, Comelico Valley, Val Boite and Tagliamento Valley.

You can reach Cercenà hut by car or on foot with an easy walk of about an hour from Domegge Lake.
From the center of Domegge you must descend toward the lake and across the bridge, more or less 200m. later, take a little asphalt road on the right and in one quarter of an hour, you will arrive at the hut.

Cercenà hut rises in a wood clearing where peace and tranquillity reign supreme. In our ample solarium you can relax on confortable deck chairs. You will eat on the outdoor tables the tastie dishes that Bruna and her family, the owners, prepare with the recipes of typical Cadore Tradition. All meals are home made with selected ingredients and vegetables from our garden. For children, we have a small playground.
There are 10 beds divided into two rooms, one with 6 beds and the other one with 4. Possibility of half board.
This is the perfect setting for relaxing, reading, hiking or just sitting and enjoying the splendid view.
